Unresolved problem re non adherence to a contractual obligation : Bad Service
In April I phoned Vodacom as I wanted to understand whether they were interested in retaining my business as I had a very good offer from a competitor, which if not matched I would port my number. I ended up with Simphiwe Qwabe who made me an offer which was very appealing (Samsung S9+, Flexi 220 and 5 Gig p/m for the duration of the 24 month contract). I asked for the offer to be put in writing so that I have a record. It took some days but eventually got this through the intervention of Tshedza Ramavale. On the 3 May my phone did not want to make calls or operate on internet/whatsapp etc. I checked on the Vodacom app and it was clear that the 5 GIG contractually agreed had not been allocated, so I called on Rethakgilwe Shanduni in the Maude str shop in Nedbank. With her help we sent the first two individuals mentioned the email correspondence reflecting the contract terms and 4.65gig of my 5 gig was restored mid day 3 May. Rethakgilwe explained that because the 5GIG was not loaded my data usage totally consumed the Flexi R220 credit. I requested that my R220 credit be restored as the data that they contractually agreed to was not loaded as it should have been. In addition I would want to understand why they took the data consumption from the R220 credit and the 5GIG allowance considering that only 4.65 gig was allocated back to me on 3 May - so it appears as if they took it from the Flexi 220 credit and deducted it from the data. Its has now been 11 days since I requested an explanation and regularly submit follow up request only to receive sms notifications that the issue has been resolved and then raise another issue etc. ref : 1- ********** ********** & 1- ********** ********** In addition I have a very long email trail covering the events and the contractual commitment to the offer made.
