Unresolved Offer Issue - Retensions
Good Day,
My contract with Vodacom expired in 2017 or even before that, I never upgraded because I was looking for the perfect deal. I decided to terminate my contract with Vodacom for their packages was very expensive as I use my phone for business and I got a great deal from MTN by that time (May 2017) so I decided to terminate my contract and transfer to MTN not because of service issues, but only due to the packages that was too high, now MTN offered me a R999 package for unlimited calls, messages and data at that stage. I contacted the Vodacom Retensions department to cancel the contract and the lady told me that Vodacom can offer me the same as they do instead their package will have 10G Data, which I thought that would be a great deal, then I do not have to go through the whole process of transferring to another network etc, and I am happy with Vodacom's network. So the lady I spoke to (named Nomsa) confirmed several times that the package will only be R999 and the deal was confirmed, when my bill came June 2017 the value was more than the agreement, July 2017/ August 2017/ September 2017/ October 2017 the value was as discussed R999, since November 2017 up to date the value is way more. I phone the retensions department several times, I started to phone weekly to speak to Nomsa (very friendly lady) to look into the matter and never got feedback, everytime I phone she is not there or busy on the line and they will ask her to get back to me, I never got a call from her, I found that the Team Leader is Andries Mo***eng and asked to speak to him instead and everytime I phone he is in a meeting and will phone me afterwards, I never got a call from Andries either. I was patiently until the last time when the customer care agent told me that Nomsa will phone me back, which I tried to believe but she never phoned. I phoned the next morning (about two weeks ago) for the last time, asking to speak to Andries. Andries never called me either. I gave them more than 6 months to sort my problem, in this time I never talked to anyone of them but Nomsa assured me in January that they are aware of my issue and she remember me from last year when I phoned retensions to cancel and when she gave me the offer. I am frustrated with the same story which lead to a dead end street. I need further steps and investigation on this matter, the offer was R999 all included here's a summary of how this look like since I upgraded last year end of May 2017: June: R1399.00 July: R996.66 August: R988.30 Septermber: R984.81 October: R979.62 November: R2060.03 December: R1212.13 January 2018: 1729.43 February 2018: R1708.93 March 2018: R1694.05 April 2018: R1825.86 May 2018: R1678.64 Lastest June 2018: R1955.36 This was not the deal if counting roughly Vodacom owes me over a 6000 rand of credit on my account. Please advise, as I am highly disappointed in the service received from this department and I confirmed with several of the customer care agents that Vodacom make their customers the same offers as other networks so that they keep their clients. As I said previously I was never unsatisfied with the networks service but this situation in how they treated me as a client made me unhappy, I would be even happy if someone at least could get back to me and told me "listen we did not sort your problem, but we are aware of the problem you experience" but I never got any feedback, I had to phone them back every single day / week and month. Regards, Lise
