Unrepaired phone LOST!!!

Towards the end of March 2016, whilst at work, my Samsung Handset turned itself off, then on again, stating that it was busy with some or other sort of software update. (By itself - I did not request this update). the phone then went off, and wouldn't come back on again. after an overnight charge, an attempt was made to do a Master Format on the device. When that didn't work, my fiance took it to Vodacom Repairs Menlyn. As the device was already out of warranty, he was quoted an amount of R280 to do a software upgrade. He received a Job Receipt and the device was sent away for \repairs\". Date Booked: 30/03/2016. Laast week, he received an SMSW statin that the device had now been sent to the Advanced Repair Centre for \"further repairs\" (No additional information about price of repair etc). He received an SMS stating that the phone is ready for collection. He gets there and its MISSING! And now it has water damage! (which it does NOT!) A simple software update has now cost me time, as well as my device. If it can't be repaired, surely I should receive it back???? I want answers as well as a PHONE!!!"
