Unprofessionalism and unthical
On the 03/09/2018 at around 09:10 I called Vodacom cancellation regarding the cancellation of my then Contract with them to request that they cancel the contract, that I had in mind was cancelled. I was with the consultant for almost 30mins and then he confirmed that my contract has been cancelled. I paid R1922 on the 21/12/2017 which was supposed to be the final payment because the contract was supposed to be cancelled in Jan 2019. In June 2018 I received the call from your legal dept. claiming that I owe R2004.11 and confirmed that the contract that was supposed to be cancelled in January 2018 was still active. I paid R2004.11 on the 21/06/2018 and I called to cancel the contract again and I was promised that it was cancelled and I am going to get the cancellation letter in 2 working day, of which I still haven't received the letter. In August 2018 I surprisingly received another call from Vodacom collections claiming that my account is in arrears. After complain about my account not being cancelled for the 2nd time, I received a call from the CEO office on the 28/08/2018 at around 14:15 to inform me that the matter will be resolved and he will get back to me with the feedback but like usual I didn't get a call back. The consultant I spoke to on the 03/09/18 confirmed and assured me that the contract is finally cancelled. Luckily I recorded our conversation. In the past 3 months I have getting threatening emails from Hammond Pole Attorneys demanding that I R635.50 that I'm owing Vodacom. This month I was applying for Bond and the bank told me that Vodacom have listed me at the Credit Bureau. I am requesting the full recordings for the 28/08/2018 at 14:15, number called ********** 398 and 03/09/2018 for the call that I made at around 09:10 using ********** 398. I want to take the matter to Ombudsman.. The contract number that I was querying is ********** 082
