Unprofessional Vodacom welcome tone

When someone calls me, they first have to listen to a silly welcome tone. I never subscribed for any of these services and cannot remove it. When i call customer care, i never get through to anyone.

*I sms’ed ‘STOP ALL’ to 31050 - Welcome tone still not deactivated. *I sms’ed ‘Stop’ to 1178 - but i get reply saying: “ Your deactivation request is pending.” Why??? *I dialed *117*987# and selected the option ‘Deactivate welcome tones’ and got a response saying i have been deactivated from welcome tones - still have a welcome tone when people call me????

This situation is incredibly frustrating, it is costing me airtime and i am losing clients because of this inappropriate and highly unprofessional welcome tone that i never subscribed to. Shame on @vodacom for not respecting their clients privacy and not solving the problem after multiple attempts.

3 months later and my welcome tone is back. I never subscribed for it and also cannot remove it. When i call customer care, i never get through to anyone. Thank you Vodacom
