Unprofessional Service

On 24 December 2016 I visit Vodashop in the Irene Mall to report a ****** IPHONE 5S and to request that the phone be blacklisted / blocked. Since I have two IPhones registered on my name, I took the packaging of the ****** phone with. I gave CHRISTO the IMEI Nr of the ****** phone. He requested my cellphone number to enable him to log onto my profile.

I warned him not to blacklist/block the incorrect phone as the IPHONE 6 registered on my name is my business telephone. At 15h00 on 24 December, the service on my business phone was suspended. I travelled 10 km to the Irene mall, arrived there at 16h45 only to realise that the shop had closed although business hours for the mall is 17h00. On 26 December, I phone the Vodacom Customer Services, was assisted very professionally by Steven to block the ****** phone. He could undertandably not lift the blacklisting/blocking. I had to go to the Vodashop on 26 December and was served by Billy Viljoen. He established that a form needed to be completed to lift the blacklisting/ blocking and that the process has to be run from the Customer Services Centre. All the paperwork was done and a reference number was obtianed.

I wrote an email to Verna Mathee the store manager to complain about the disposition I was placed in, but have until today not received a response. On Tuesday 27/12, I once more went to the shop to enquire about the progress. I was told that the department responsible for lifting the blacklisting/ blocking will only open on 28 December. I was assured by Billy and another assistant that they would make enquiries as early as 9 am on 28/12 and contact me on my son's phone.

I did not hear from either of them, had to phone in several times and only managed to speak to Billy at14h00. (I had to borrow a phone in order to contact the branch.) He then started to make enquiries, and reported that there is a long list for processing and that my name is on the list.

I left on a bussiness trip to Mozambique on the evening of 28/12 and is currently still without service!!!!!

At the moment I am desperate about getting reconnected since it is my business phone, and I am unbable to contact my clients telephonically.

I ask that Vodacom urgently look into this matter!
