Unprofessional and Terrible Nightmare Customer Service from Vodacom Eastgate and Call centre

Reference Number ********** 6 On the 19 JULY 2018 I took my phone for repairs as it was stuck on the android logo. I was told by Isheemael Ndebele that it will take averagely 7 to 10 days and they will inform me via sms or call regarding the status of the phone. After 10 days we phone the number that is reflected on the receipt and the number doesnt work anymore they changed it but still give clients the receipt with non-functional number. Telkom and Vodacom customer service to get the correct number which doesn't appear anywhere on their transaction documents. The phone was answered by front desk personnel twice who told us that the technicians were busy and will call back. This never happened and the following day we went to the store to enquire and the technician called said it has a damaged display and must be replaced and waiting for the part from head office. We went again after the third week to check and still no straight answer now they say they waiting for the parts from the manufacture(Nokia). We still waited and kept our cool and on the 8th of August I received a text message saying the phone has been sent to Advanced Repair centre for higher level repair. Mind you this phone is still under 2 years warranty and not yet a year old, still new and protected with their cover and screen protector. On the 15th August i phoned Customer Services and spoke with Ms Kutlwano Monnakgotla who promised to escalate this matter with her supervisor to write an email to the store to find out why is it taking so and no feedback given or communication relayed to me on captured on the system. She promised to call me after 3 hours about the progress and hoped to get a copied mail from Vodacom. Nothing happened and TODAY the 20th August i phoned again to be told that the phone was sent back to the store on the 8th August after "high level repairs" which according to the repairs(Cynthia) at Advanced Repair Centre was to replace the motherboard which was malfunctioning and freezing. Made me hold and put the phone on speaker to speak with the Eastgate store and was told they sent me an sms yesterday(19th August 2018) by Winnie, and must go there to fetch the phone as it is ready. I never received any text from them and if they did why after 9days? Because they dont care, why they are called customer care it buffles me. They are so clueless about their roles and responsbilitities or else the management doesnt know how to manage customer relations and hold those response to account. These are the same people who complain about unemplyment and when they have one they treat you especially if you are black like them as "*******" or doing favours to you and you are not to complain as only white people are suppose to complain and it is acceptable. They have attitude of not respecting their work and courtesy to talk to people and think any black person must be addressed in Zulu. I have nothing against other race groups but the fact of the socio-political dynamics amongst ourselves is worse than from a person of different race. Most of them turn their name tag backwards so you should not know who you talking to or borrow from their friends to disguise. I a not sure whether the phone is there or not as i may be told someone is checking and must hold on then drop the phone as is the norm. I expect an apology for the inconvenience of having to loose important business calls and forced to buy a phone to accomodate a nano sim card. Once this contract is complete I am terminating this number and cut off my lossses with Vodakop
