Unorthorised data purchase

I am a pre-paid Vodacom customer. When without WiFi, I buy data bundles from my airtime funds, eg during travel times. It turns out, once the bundle expires, Vodacome takes money off my airtime for out-of-bundle data, without authorisation. This is *****, theft and definitely a very poor business practice. Only I should decide when to buy data from my airtime!

Reviewer Update
Vodacom contacted me today, showed some degree of understanding, and refunded over R140 Rands in air-time, which is generous. I was also informed that one can opt out of the out-of-bundle data purchase by climbing 3 levels up into the options tree offered by *111#, but the instructions seem not work. Regarding the expiry of data bundles: Remaining data is rolled over only if the next bundle is purchased in time. If not, bad luck!
