Unorthodox Vodacom Sales methods

So Vodacom calls and offers me an upgrade 3 months before my contract ends and at a total package deal of R986 BUT bill me R1400 . I lodged a query and was told that I still had to pay the last 3 installments of the present contract. Had I known that, I would of waited the three months. I was not happy and requested that it gets escalated and the next thing I get is a message saying the query is closed after I asked on "chat line" when will I get a response!! Not only have I now got a double handset payment, my contract still ends in 27months time!!

To VODACOM, you offered R986 but billing R1400 without notification, please correct this or have your phone back and revise on due date (August) And do not insult me by getting a call centre person calling me, get somone with authority To EVERYONE ELSE........BEWARE OF VODACOM SLY OPERATORS

Out of all fairness, thank you for calling me to explain the situation. Three things emerged namely: 1)The consultant did not inform me of the handset payments overlap 2)Vodacom did not advise me of the outcome and will address it internally 3)I did not read the "terms of conditions" when the cell phone was delivered by the courier....................my mistake, next time and I advise all to do the same, invite the courier in, make a cup of coffee, sit them down while you read the "terms and conditions" and then sign if you are happy. READ IT!!! LET THEM WAIT.
