******** DEBIT OUT OF MY ACCOUNT

On the 26th September 2016 i received an sms notifying me that my Vodacom Debit Order had come off my account. To my shock I noticed that Vodacom had debited my account with R992. My usual subscription is about R500pm. I immediately made a call to query this.

I was informed that Vodacom had double deducted my subscription fee and that it would be reversed within 48 hours of my phone call.

On the 28th September I had still not received the refund promised so I called again. This time I was informed that it would take 7 to 14 days for the refund and that a customer service agent would call me withing 48 hours to confirm where I would like the money to be paid to.

On the 3rd October I has still ot recived a call or an sms from Vodacom so I once again called them. This time I was told the same 48 hour story and that they were waiting for the accounts department to authorise the payment but unfortunately they could not get hold of anyone o the phone.

On the 5th October after making another call to Vodacom, I did receive a call back later from Kgomotso Moteme saying that he still could not get hold of the person dealing with my account ad that he would send an email and cc me in on the mail requesting some kind of response to me query. I did receive the email a few minutes later.

Today is the 10th October 2016. I have made another call to Vodacom and today I was told that they are still waiting for the confirmation to reinburse my money and that I now have to send them a bank statement so that they can transfer the money into my account. Once they receive the statement it will then take about 14 working days.

***!!!!!

After speaking to 6 different call centre agents. NOT ONE of them mentioned anything about a bank statement.

Vodacom has my bank details. They took the DAMN money out of my account in the first place. Now I have to prove that its my bank account so that they can put it back into MY bank account.

I have a bet going with friends that my next debit order is going to come off before I see one cent of my refund from VODACOM.

Time to look for a new Service Provider!!!
