Unknown contracts added to my account

On the 22nd of February I took out a new contract with Vodacom for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with 2GB data.

On the 8th of March I received an invoice which not only had the Tablet but an additional 2 laptops on my account. I then phoned to find out about the 2 laptops, to which a very helpful Joseph assisted me and said that the contracts were taken out by a 3rd party acting on behalf of Vodacom and that they would investigate and ask for proof from the company that I actually agreed to these contracts.

Then on Friday I received an email stating that I need to forward an affidavit and ID. I contacted the call centre again, and a much less helpful agent this time said that is the process and that the ticket was closed.

I said but I was told that Vodacom would investigate and get proof. Now I am the one having to jump through hoops to prove that I didn't take out these contracts.

If all these calls are recorded and deliveries are signed for then proof should be easy to obtain from Vodacom's side.

Come on Vodacom, step up your game and sort this out.

Dear Vodacom

I am still waiting for a consultant to contact me.

The only response I had was another email requesting an affidavit and copy of my ID, which I have since provided, but still no response.
