Unimpressed and pretty much not happy!!!
Good day
I have recently upgraded with Vodacom and received my headset on the 11 Feb 2020. Upon receiving the device I noticed that I only received one sim and it is a dual sim phone, not that receiving one sim was an issue. I then called customer care and was told I need to go to a Vodashop where they will unlock the sim 2 slot so the device can read my second sim. On Saturday (22 Feb 2020) I went to Vodacom at Vosloorus Chris Hani Mall and was assisted by a gentlemen by the name of TK. He then told me since I did the upgrade online I will have to call customer care again for assistance and they will help me. Back to square one I called customer care and spoke to a lady by the name of Ntwanano Maceve who was not helpful at all, firstly she had attitude and you could just hear that she was not even willing to assist but get rid of me on the call. She was not listening to come with a resolution but she was just listening to answer, she wanted to send RAM to fetch the phone where as I didn't even suggest that is what I want. I asked her multiple times if it was possible to get the slot for sim 2 unlocked so it can read the second sim and she just wanted to send RAM to pick up the device. The device is a Huawei P30 light and is dual sim capable phone, so can someone tell me why would a phone with that capability be limited to only one sim, and on the Vodacom website why was there no disclaimer to advise that it was disabled to be a dual sim phone? One of my reasons for getting this specific phone was that it is dual sim phone... Can you please tell me how I can sort this out, how can I get the sim 2 slot unlocked because in all honesty I am not getting the phones value if such things are restricted??
