Unilateral Contract migration

During Nov 2016, Vodacom contacted me, advising that they want to migrate me to another contract that will suit my needs better. I asked more than once during the conversation whether the new contract will cost me more than my present contract and I was assured that it would not cost me more. I asked why Vodacom would offer me more data, for example, but not expect me to pay more and the Call centre person rep**** that Vodacom has listened to their clients, hence the call I received.

To my surprise my account received in Dcember was approximately R300 more than what I paid on my original contract. I have been trying since January to have my contract reverted back to the original contract, with no luck. I have made so many phone calls, sent so many e-mails with no luck. I have advised Vodacom that what they did amounts to ***** as I did not give consent to migrate to a contract that would cost me more per month. Vodacom employees have phoned me numerous times after every time I logged a call with the Customer Care department, promising that they would revert me back to my previous contract and that I would be refunded, but I never heard from them again, nor was the problem resolved.

During the past threee mnths I have been sent from pillar to post without making any progress to resolve my problem. It is impossible to get hold of somebody who can or have the authority to resolve the dispute.

I think it is just so wrong that this matter has been carrying on for so long and I have no idea how Vodacom can get away with such ********* business practices without any consequences.
