Unilateral Breach of Contractual Agreement

Vodacom has quietly decided to increase a contract without any prior notice or agreement and simply proceeds to bill the increased amount. While MTN (particularly to loyal customers) offers annual discounts, Vodacom increases its already higher-than-average charges as if customers are of no value to them and are merely expected to submit to their profit-driven practices.

To be treated in this manner after more than 26 years as a Vodacom customer is deeply disappointing. This is, moreover, not the first occurrence. In my view, such conduct constitutes a violation of consumer protection legislation. I need my bill te be reduced to the agreed contract amount immediately; otherwise, I will take it further to even NCC and ICASA.

Contact was made, but the agreement wasn't activated; as a matter of fact, the bill is higher than agreed upon.
