My husband (who works overseas as an expat) gave me written permission to obtain a 4 th number on his vodacom account for wifi purposes. All went well at the branch, except; the salesman said the sim card would have been activated and ready within 5 hours. It is almost 24 hours down the line and the sim card is still not activated. Upon phoning the vodacom help centre the lady said she couldn't assist me since the contract is on my husband's name. REALLY?!? I was able to onbtain a new contract by means of a letter by my husband but vodacom can simply not activate the new sim card?!?!

1st off all: I was told the sim card would be activated within 5 hours and that didn't happen. And now vodacom won't assist me; they want to speak to my husband.

It is clear that vodacom makes enough money and loosing a customer every now and then doesn't worry them at all.
