unhelpful incompetence

I have been a customer of Vodacom for nearly 20 years. My phone was ****** some years back and ever since I have been unable to retrieve voicemails. When I upgraded from iPhone6 to iPhone7 a few days ago, I thought I would persevere with Vodacom Customercare. After being passed from one person to another I ended up with an extremely arrogant consultant by the name of Jesse Mbi. For the third time by Vodacom consultants, I was asked for personal particulars (Name, ID, Bank, type of banking account but then he asked questions about how much my last account was which I did not have handy but estimated between R500-R1200 per month). I dont check these amounts as they just get debited and paid via my bank account. This did not satisfy him and I then asked for his name. All that I needed was for my Voicemail to be set up again as I was being asked for a password which I never recall inserting and then voicemail was blocked.

What I find amazing is that a person like this can ruin a long-standing relationship and as a customer of good standing, I cant get my problem attended to, quickly and efficîently.

Best regards,
I appreciate your prompt response. It is unfortunate that your customers have to resort to Hellopeter to get proper service from unsatisfactory Vodacom staff.
