Unhappy customer

I recently renewed my vodacom contract and due to the impact of covid on the economy I called vodacom in July 2020 and spoke to an agent Xaba, inquiring if they was a retrenchment insurance cover that will cover the contract should I be impacted by retrenchment in the future he agreed that they was a retrenchment insurance that will cost R9.88 and my first debit order will be deducted with my current contract bill on the 27 July 2020 which was deducted,on the 1 October 2020 I wanted to confirm if the insurance was still active and I was advised by consultant Alvis that they was a death cover insurance active,I thereafter was startled has that was not apart of the conversation I had with the agent, I thereafter requested a transcript of the voice recording,I have not received it as yet,on the 2/10/2020 I called back and spoke to the Khahliso from the insurance department at 13:11 and this consultant confirmed that the retrenchment insurance was indeed active and I was covered,I requested what information was required and I was advised to go to a Vodacom store,I thereafter proceeded to a Vodacom store at the plaza and was informed that the insurance covers for death, I am frustrated has I believed that Vodacom was a network provider that have competent workers and customers were treated with respect however for the last 7 times I called in I've been transferred more than 30 times with 1 agent even asking me to hold on for 15 minutes and could be heard in the background having a personal conversation resulting in me disconnecting the call on the 1 October,if the incorrect insurance selection was selected by an employee of Vodacom I can not be blamed for incompetence, please forward me a transcript of the voice recording as I intend on taking the matter further

I have been contacted by a senior consultant Lance Gurgling from Vodacom, the feedback I received was not acceptable although I requested on many occasions the voice recording of the agent that I spoke to from Vodacom I was advised that the voice recording can not be available to me,so if the customers are mislead they still are unable to obtain the voice recordings, I'm now paying the price when I had followed the correct process,I than requested from this consultant if the voice recordings has been listened to internally to discover if I was indeed mislead he thereafter advised me not yet, I believe my query which I lodged almost a month was not given any priority at all instead I'm being said to ask Vodacom to suspend the line,I can't understand how certain agents can view the retrenchment insurance policy and when you speak to an alternate agent its a life cover and even though I had been mislead it seems like a minor problem to Vodacom,Its actually very sad that a company that boast about customer service takes such issues so lightly and the customer pays for the campanies incompetence,i will never want to deal or refer this service provider to anyone that I may know.
