Unhappy customer
I recently renewed my vodacom contract and due to the impact of covid on the economy I called vodacom in July 2020 and spoke to an agent Xaba, inquiring if they was a retrenchment insurance cover that will cover the contract should I be impacted by retrenchment in the future he agreed that they was a retrenchment insurance that will cost R9.88 and my first debit order will be deducted with my current contract bill on the 27 July 2020 which was deducted,on the 1 October 2020 I wanted to confirm if the insurance was still active and I was advised by consultant Alvis that they was a death cover insurance active,I thereafter was startled has that was not apart of the conversation I had with the agent, I thereafter requested a transcript of the voice recording,I have not received it as yet,on the 2/10/2020 I called back and spoke to the Khahliso from the insurance department at 13:11 and this consultant confirmed that the retrenchment insurance was indeed active and I was covered,I requested what information was required and I was advised to go to a Vodacom store,I thereafter proceeded to a Vodacom store at the plaza and was informed that the insurance covers for death, I am frustrated has I believed that Vodacom was a network provider that have competent workers and customers were treated with respect however for the last 7 times I called in I've been transferred more than 30 times with 1 agent even asking me to hold on for 15 minutes and could be heard in the background having a personal conversation resulting in me disconnecting the call on the 1 October,if the incorrect insurance selection was selected by an employee of Vodacom I can not be blamed for incompetence, please forward me a transcript of the voice recording as I intend on taking the matter further
Thanks
