Unhappy Customer!!!
I have been a Vodacom customer for the past 8 years, but the service I’ve received from NUMEROUS consultants and supervisors have been non-existent for this query.
My debit order for my March invoice went off on 29/03/2018 (even though my debit order is only set for the last day of every month – since that is the date that I get paid), but Vodacom then decided to take my debit order off 2 DAYS BEFORE my debit order date, WITHOUT consulting that with me first!
I, then had an unpaid debit order fee from my bank, but then Vodacom charged me an additional R100.88 which they just put on my statement, but not provided me any invoice for that amount.
When I discussed this with Vodacom in the beginning of April, they said it’s just something I have to pay, that it’s part of my contract. I have read through the terms and conditions plenty, and nowhere does it state that I have to pay ANY amount, never mind a specific amount of R100.88.
But to give them the benefit of the doubt, I requested proof of this document (where I acknowledged and signed) stating that I would be responsible for “x” amount, if debit order rejects. They have provided me with my latest copy of proof of purchase and latest copy of contract for my latest phone upgrade, but not with my original copy of contract of 8 years ago, which is what I’ve been requesting.
And now they have suspended my Vodacom account.
Vodacom keeps saying that this query has been resolved but it has not, and I am extremely unhappy! Can someone higher up please contact me ASAP to resolve this query, so I can get my phones turned back on.
