Unhappy client

On the 16 of October, my mother and I visited the Vodcom Store at the 3rd level opp Wimpy to purchase phones for my daughter and nephew. We were welcomed by a kindly (black lady) whom directed us to another lady called Hassina. Before we could even enter the store, we advised Hassina that we would like to purchase the Phone provided that this new phone will allow the kids to be able to use their other network as well as data on the other network. Hassina confirmed that the phones will be dual sim and that it will accept both vodacom and the other network services including data. We mad the purchase of 2 phones, she even cross sold us screen protectors on both phone and we accepted. She inserted both telkom Sim cards for my daughter and assured us that everything will work fine. During the sale, we continously confirmed with her that will the phones work on other data network and she kept on yes yes it will work hence we concluded the sale which amounted to R2796. 00.

We got home, charged the phone as advised and switched on the data on my daughter new phone (purchased from Vodacom). Data tab greyed out, message stating that a none vodacom Sim has been inserted in your device, data service are limited. This was evident that it the phone requires only vodacom data of which, it is what was confirmed with Hassina aerval times hence we would have not made the purchase. We were mislead for personal gain, Hassina took advantage of us.

This morning we went back to the store, explained everything that happened to the Manager (Sasha). Sasha advised Hassina is off and that we have to wait for a cash sale for the funds to returned. We are awaiting the called for the refund so we can got and buy the phones at the kids repective network store.

Please attend to this matter urgently as we note that conflict on interest was taken into consideration
