Unhappy and disgusted

To whom it may concern.

On the 1st of October I saw on my bank statements that vodacom tried to take R3076.36 from me. I went to vodacom to find out why because I normally pay R668 so I knew something was wrong.
I went to Vodacom at Clear water mall on the 5th of October. They couldn't help me because they were of line. I then went to another vodacom at Clear water (under the escalator). They couldn't help me because they said my number was on a new system and they can't access the new system, i then went back to the other vodacom, that I went to the first time. They said my account says it was for data usage. I was verry unhappy.

I went back home to look for my contract but couldn't find it. I went back to Clear water mall on the 7th of October to settle my balance because vodacom let me know that they are going to freeze my account. I asked the lady at the till to tell me my balance and se said it was R7028. I turned around and walked away. I was verry upset. I then went to the other store in clear water (the one that was off line the first time). I spoke to Hlompho to help me find out what is going on. He couldn't help me and he told met to call the account department. I also asked for a copy of my contract . He told me that I need to go to the vodacom where I did the contract. I came back home to phone the account department. Spoke to Dineo, she gave me 2 different numbers one was for September and the R3000 was for October. I phoned the custemer care to try and find out where did I use all the data. She couldn't help me.

I went to vodacom in westgate shopping center. I spoke to Attlee he also tried to find out if there was a problem. He couldn't find a problem and told me I need to pay the R7028. So I did pay with my credit card. As I finished the payment I asked if he can give me my cell phone contract (because that is were I did my upgrade). He got it for me but he also gave me my wifi contract (the one that I was looking for but I did this contract at clear water, under escalator). I was unhappy because vodacom (clear water, the one that was offline) told me you can only get your copy of contrack at the vodacom that you purchased from.

So as Attlee went through my contract he shoock his head. He showed me that I sighned for topup but the code that they use to put on the system was for open line. I was verry unhappy to find this out, after I payed. So if I didn't asked for my contract vodacom then scored lots of money.

I then went back to vodacom clear water where I signed the contract . I spoke to the manager, at that time, ronel, and the new manager Eathen. Told them the story and showed them the contract . Mpho that did my contract was no longer working there. Ronel said we need to do a migration wich Eathen did, then they will send it through to bill shock. Ronel told me it will be 98% that I will get my money back. They also told me it is going to take 2-3 working days to get a response. 4 working days later on the 13th October I phoned custemer care and spoke to Tracey. She couldn't find my reference number so we told here the whole story and she said that I need to send a proof of payment through to custemer care. So I did and custemer care send me a email with a new reference number.

I waited till the 24th of October. I called custemer care with my reference number. They told me they are busy with investigation but the deadline is the 9th of November then they will let me know.

Vodacom let me know on the 28 th of October my case is closed they are not going to pay me back my money but they are going to credit me on my account for R2400. I lost my cool an was verry unhappy.

I went to Vodaworld Midrand on 31 Ocrober at 11am. I spoke to Daniel and told him the story again. I have waited 2 hours for a response. He came back and said he is going to call me at 10am on the 1st November. He didn't call so I tried 3 numbers that he gave me no one answered so I emailed Daniel as well as his manager Sibeko. I told then I was waiting for a response. Got no reply.

I got a sms from vodacom saying the following: Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Your query with ref number 1- ********** 8338 has been resolved. Credit was processed on the 30th Oct. Thank you, Vodacom.

I emailed Daniel and Sibeko asking to explain. No reply so I called customer care again. The lady logged my request again. I am losing my temper badly. I already went to Beeld and I am on my way to see my lawyer.

I was verry unhappy about the way vodacom handled my case. First of all no one new where the problem were. 2nd of all if I didn't ask for my contract vodacom would have scored big time. 3rd off all the fact that I needed to phone so many times because no one let me know how far my case was, I needed to phone all the time. Last this was not my fault because my contract was wrong on the system, and now Vodacom don't want to pay me back. I would not have used the data if it stoped like I signed for on my contract (top up).
I am verry verry unhappy with this terrible service of vodacom.

Sort it out!!!!!!
