Unfixed cellphone

I took my cellphone to vodacom for them to fix it as it is not charging, they toom the phone and advised they will send an sms when its fixed. I recieved smses along the month thinking its gonna get fixes well they sent me an sms on 09/09/2015 for me to come take my phone as it is ready for colkection. Ready for collection not fixed i sent they customer care an email twice i did not get any responce. All they know is to debit but how can i pay a phone that is not even working? They told me it can not be fixed why do they sell cellphones while they know it cant be fixed when broken. I am so disapointed with they service. It just doesnt make sense to me.
