13 Nov 2025, 12:23On September 29, 2025, I accidentally paid R8 000 to my Vodacom account instead of R8 00. It's been three weeks now, and I have been on call each day enquiring about a refund. What is frustrating right now is that the Vodacom consultant keeps giving me different responses depending on how the refund is processed. I have been emailing Vodacom's refunds office. What is also frustrating is that they take a long time to respond via email, and whenever they respond, they always ask for new information and documents to attach. Currently, I am confused about exactly what they want, as I have emailed all the documents they enquired about from the beginning of this refund request. When I enquired about their telephone contact details, apparently, they don't have any refund office contacts; you can only reach out to them via email, such a terrible, frustrating scenario. Clearly, Vodacom really doesn't care about its clients. Once this is resolved, I will have my account cancelled with immediate effect.
