Unfair Treatment By Vodacom

I was offered a telephonic Contract for a Vodacom modem for two years in 2016. When the 2nd year came and the contract was supposed t have ended, it did end cause Vodacom says I should have cancelled the contract therefore they continued to deduct and when they received no payment the handed the matter to Lawyers.

What annoys me with Vodacom is that: Being their client they should have alerted me as to which steps I should take when the contract ended cause when a contract why should I further cancel it. Secondly now a sitting with an amount of R1131 including legal fees whereas my monthly installment was R110. If there was an outstanding amount in my account why was I not contacted via my cellphone, email and SMS instead of just being hanged over to legal.

Am very disappointed at Vodacom with the way they handled the matter am glad they are no longer my Network Provider.

Am still waiting for Vodacom to contact me as promised but funny enough it’s the Lawyers calling asking to make arrangements for payment and it’s not about the payment it’s about Vodacom’s poor treatment.
