Unfair treatment
I received my monthly credit report and Vodacom reported me to have missed a payment, yet every month for the past decade they have been successfully debiting my account without a single failure. Their call centre agent cannot even explain why my account is flagged as a defaulter when there was a successful debit off my account. Why ruin my credit history for this? Is this what being loyal to Vodacom results in? Absolutely gutted!

04 Oct 2024, 11:07The reply from Vodacom is nauseating:
" On the months where the client paid late, it will reflect negatively same as short or no payment and when they paid on time it will have a positive reflection."
How is it that when I have a debit order mandate in place, Vodacom fails to collect the total amount due and pushes the blame on me? I only knew about this R3.77 after I lodged this complaint on hellopeter.com - and someone called to and they did an investigation while on the call with them. It took this person a while to find this R3.77 amount, yet Vodacom says that I failed to pay. You ***** my credit record because of a failure in your business processes, and yet you audaciously claim that I failed to pay.
What's worse, your call centre agents say that they can't do anything about it because it's not their department that works with such, therefore they can't do anything about it. How am I expected to know how Vodacom is structured and who does what in the business?

I received my latest credit report this morning. The "default" that you claim I have still reflects on my report, contrary to your promise of reporting it as 'not in default'. What must one do for you to correct your error which is negatively impacting me?
