My son went to Ireland in 2015. We immediatelly contacted the hotel he was staying in to get the free wifi of the hotel for the duration of the stay. He was on a school tour and was out on the field most of the time. On his return Vodacom billed my account R20 000 and deducted same from my account fo the five days my son was overseas. We have since been arguing about this and they eventually stopped all my 7 contracts. They have now handed me over for R 60 000 to some Burnard Raaths attorneys. I submitted all information and ID copy to this law firm and they continue treatening me with legal action. All I have requested is the detailed log on the data and the sites visited and Vodacom insists that they do not have to prove anything to me, I just have to pay what they tell me is owed. This is quite interesting because it has all the signs of a ripp-off scheme....
