Unfair and ********* business practices
Vodacom conducts their business in a very unfair and ********* way. Their customer service is non-existent. I moved to a new area and they don’t have coverage in this area. They want 30 days notice to cancel a fiber contract. So they are contacted on the 1 November, guess what, they are closed. Call in on the Monday, 3 November. I am told that they will only cancel end December, which I totally disagree with. I requested to speak to somebody senior. Today is the 20 November and still no call from anybody. Called twice today and told that somebody will call me back, still nothing. Since Vodacom doesn't have the courtesy or customer service values to return a call, maybe they can answer me on this platform: -Why must I inform you of a cancellation form a previous month? -What is the problem if you are informed on the 1st of the month? -You can write up a contract in the middle of the month and charge pro-rate. Why can’t you do the same for a cancellation? -Why does it take 20 days for somebody to get back to a customer? -Why are people working from home, if they get hold of a manager?
I have been a Vodacom customer on their cell phone network for more than 20 years. How is this ‘Further Together’, this is not a principle that Vodacom is living by??
