********* tactics, Rude Consultants and basically wanting you to perform the impossible to resolve a simple dispute.

So I recently took up an additional promo contract with Vodacom and was advised that the price was inclusive. The first month was a problem as I was debit on a day I never agreed on, to make that worse I was not even informed that such a debit order would be taking place.

That query was never really resolved but I just let it go and decided to move on with life.

Now my first bill non prorata bill come up and I notice that I had been billed extra for that, so I call in and speak to a gentlement by the name of Phumlani who refused to give his surname. This gentlemen was very relucted to assist and insisted that no wrong doing had occurred from the part of vodacom. this is a conclusion made solely on his assumption and not even taking into account my view or side of the story.

I then instructed him to investigate after he had attempted to argue with me and say that he was right and I wasn't. so I let him investigate and he calls the following day at a very awkward time which actually falls outside of business hours. I advise him to call after 9am, something he agreed to but didn't really do. I didn't take that to heart either but rather let him continue to advise on the findings after pulling a recording I had request he do so. He then proceeds to explain to me that the recording says what he has been saying to me and not what i said it say(which is definitly not the truth). I then start to get upset with his arrogance and constance arguing. I then request for a copy of the recording in order to verify what he says is on them as I recall it to be completely different. He then advises me that the obly way I would be able to get a copy of that recording is if he is ordered by a court of law to do so.

I am left appauled by the poor customer service I have received from this gentlement as I was only trying to ensure that the terms of my contract are not abused.

I then requested to speak to a supervisor due to the deadlock and shocking treatment from the consultant who is meant to be the main point of contact with the clients and a voice of reason. This person is meant to reassure the client's that their concerns will be dealt with in the most professional manner and ensure that the client's story is heard and then proceed to verify the facts.

The supervisor(Sihle Mpama) was calmer and attempted to assist without losing his cool. the other thing that is frustrating is the lengths one has to go through to be able to get a recording which he is usually told upfront will be available upon request.

I now also have to produce a contract I do not have(which was never given to me) and go to the police just to get the recording to prove that what I said I was told is in fact true.
