********* practise in event of death

My father passed away. Vodacom suspended the account and now continues to collect subscription fees and handset fees. I understand the handset, but charging a subscription to a dead person who cant make calls. In a time where the family is grieving and in shock, vodacom comes knocking. If you are with MTN and you die, they request the handset. cellC just cancels and the estate keep the handset. Cellc also now have option to help you (when alive) get out of your contract. Our family will be doing that with our 7 vodacom contracts. Sure vodacom dont care, but hopefully other consumers will see this and not sign up with vodacom
