********* business practice

Please address this complaint in a serious light. I'm busy having FTTH activated at a resisence in Yserfontein. My dad enquired about Fibre by Timothy Swartz who I think was having a drive at the Spar. All my dad did was enquire. Timothy took his cell number as he has an account with Vodacom and said hell see if he qualifies. 2 days later a router is on its way to be delivered. I phoned Timothy and his told me this is standard practice. Told him who will waste money on a courier is you haven't even signed papers. He says I mustn't worry. Told him to fix whatever **** he's busy with as if it affects what I'm busy with we will have issues. My Fibre line that I was busy with didn't go through as Vodacom had activated the service. I spoke to his manager and he said hell cancel the service. 3 days later still no service canceled and this is costing me money because Vodacom allows its employees to practice ********* business practices. Fix the **** that you started and remove whatever you added to that account ASAP.

That is not acceptable. You are aware that ***** was committed by activating the service on the account. No documentation or signature was provided or received. If I'm Vodacom I suggest you do what I told you when I posted the first review and handle this case with seriousness and haste. If I do not get proper results soonest then we will be opening a ***** case, then maybe Vodacom will put some effort in.

You obviously do not get what is happening. It's not about a 30 day cancellation period after you failed to protect the customers personal information from being accessed with only a phone number and authorizing a contract to be loaded **********ly. Stop addressing this issue casually and abide by the Popi act.
