********* business practice

I have been trying to get my mother’s account sorted out for months now. Several calls logged, with no feedback or even a response From anybody. And while I am still trying to get a credit for “subscriptions” billed month after month without her permission, she now has a welcome tone, also with a monthly charge. And everything you are told to do to get it off, doesn’t work. Please can you remove it IMMEDIATELY and credit any charges on her account ***. Please let her know once it has been done. If you read the comments from other customers, it is evident that this is a serious problem, with Vodacom only.

Reviewer Update
A very unfriendly man phoned today and said he will contact my mother, who is the owner of the account. I have informed him that she would like to be served in Afrikaans and that is the reason I have been assisting her all along. He said he will sort it out. Not surprising at all, she has still not been sorted out. He told her to dial *135# to get the welcome tone off, which we have tried with no success and that she has been credited for the previous queries she has had. But not everything, only 3 months. She tried to phone back on the number he phoned her from, with no success. Please explain how you can just bill an account without permission and when asked to credit the unauthorized deductions, you are told you have been credited what they are willing to credit, which isn’t even half of what is owed to her. This is ********* and I expect this to be resolved, or we have no choice, other to report it.
