********* billing

When reviewing my billing account this month I noticed an additional amount of R86.84 had been added to my bill for Vodafone Live. Having never seen this before on my previous accounts I contacted the Vodacom Call Centre to query the amount and was told that "I must have activated it on my phone" - I guarantee you this is untrue. How could I have done so when I had no idea what is was in the first place. The lady told me that I need to deactivate it on my phone using a www.vodafone.co.za website - which just transfers me to the vodacom website - clearly unable to resolve the issue. Now I need to go to a Vodacom Shop to ask them to deactivate something I never activated in the first place! And still have to pay for something I never used! How does a company get away with something like this and what recourse does a customer have to take such ********* practices forward? Are big corporations like Vodacom allowed to do these things without facing legal consequuences?
