Unending contract

<p>On the 27 December 2016 I was due for an upgrade on my Vodacom contract ********** 440,</p> <p>I went in to the Vodacom branch in Vantage Mall and was helped by a gentleman named Darren, who told me that I was unable to upgrade! I then ask if I could cancel the contract and was then told that the contract expires in March 2017 so it was not necessary for a cancellation.</p> <p>I but still contacted the cancellation department and was told that the contract will be cancelled the end of March 2017!! </p> <p> </p> <p>This morning 26 May 2017, I contacted the cancellation department again as my account was debited with R706.98 for a contract that should be expired and this is unacceptable! I spoke to A lady at solutions department who told me that the cancellation has expired and the contract is still running. (how is this even possible)! </p> <p>I was then put through to Nhlanhla who told me that my account will be credited within 7-14 working days which is unacceptable as the phone is not in use and was supposed to be expired and this is not the first incident I have with Vodacom!!</p> <p>The SIM card is no longer in use after I was refused a contract upgrade that I pay for! And then they still debit my account when they can see that the contract has reached its 24 months and is no longer in use! </p> <p> </p>
