Underwhelming Service, **** Promises

I am sitting here in bed dumbfounded by 2 weeks of bad service in the form of under performance, **** promises and a curious case of AWOLing from your consultants and managers. You would swear I'm trying to buy meat from a bakery at this point.

I app**** for a contract for a Huawei P20 lite at Vodacom Hatfield where a certain Lucas began my application 30 Nov 2018. I comp**** with all standard requirements to the letter. Until your vetting team responded by saying we need a complete work contract. I insisted this is the format of our work contracts as we use one pager contracts (lean engineering). Your vetting team said they couldn't vet it despite having had a 3 month bank's statement with a matching company name to the conrtact's. If this isn't proof that I'm employed I don't know what is. I am a foreign citizen and hence why vetting team had to vet me.

Where I started getting aggrieved is when Lucas failed to relay many of these communications to me. I had to employ myself as a vodacom agent soliciting my own feedback, this was after I had specifically asked him to contact me because I would be out of the country for business. This dragged for two weeks as I only came back on the 13th. On the 6th I called the store from outside the country and asked to speak to the manager as I was fed up and was given off to the assistant manager. He seemed understanding and concerned by this. He took my application and promised he would find out why and resolve it by the next day and also give me feedback. But the next day came and went and had to call him myself only to be told he is not at work Saturday 8th December. This was very unprofessional to make a promise only to be Awol from duty next day. The week dragged on. No feedback,no update in what I think is maybe 'Vodacom style' now surely. On the 14th upon my return I visited the store insisted to be helped by the manager and not Lucas or The Assistant Manager because I had dismissed them as *********** or at the very least unconcerned at this point. The manager seemed understanding. Took my application and made promises yet again that he would personally resolve it and that I will be included in the mails with ISD or something like that. He at least included me in the mails and saw two bits of communication from 5pm to about 12am Saturday 15th. Saturday as promised no feedback was given. I had to solicit my own feedback after the time he promised to give feedback had lapsed. I call only to discover he also was AWOL from duty. Unprofessional, distatestful and underwhelming. How is it that they all couldn't make it to work on Saturday after having promised on Friday night. When I called I spoke to the assistant yet again who announced that his Manager was not at work, something came up. Which was the same excuse he had used himself a week ago. At this point this sounds like a personal issue with me. Mind you I'm an existing vodacom customer being vetted yet again because of these unintegrated vodacom systems. As if not enough he takes it upon himself to make another promise about him showing me some emails as proof that his managers absence hadn't affected my application. Not knowing maybe I had been part of the thread of emails for the last 24 hours and there hadn't been any communication on the Saturday since opening of business. In what I now call vodacom style, yet again, no emails were sent to me to show what had been done.

This is really poor and seems personal. I hope its not a latent xenophobic attitude on foreigners being depicted by this whole group of vodacom employees. It would be really sorry. I can't seem to figure out a reason why I'm being mistreated and taken for a ride.
