UNDER INSURED WITHOUT BEING INFORMED
I got an upgrade telepathically last year October, I was upgraded to an A70. Was then insured from there. My phone got damaged yesterday, logged a claim. I have just called *** and spoke to Happy and have been advised my phone is insured for R3500, the pairs costs almost R4500, the value of the phone is valued for R7500. Where is the sense in that? I was never informed of the maximum cover amount of R3500. How on the earth would you insure me for R3500 if you are giving almost R8000 phone. I need to have this matter resolved, I use the phone for work purposes and I am being really inconvenienced right now. The is not the service I am expecting from you, at all. This is quite pathetic!!!!

I have still not been contacted regarding the complaint and this is so not on.
Instead, I have received a call from Happy from insurance department informing that "At the end of the day I need to pay a back dated premium of R804.18" for claim to be honored. No feedback about the matter in hand that I was not informed of the covered amount, I find this ridiculous to say the least. He is a very insensitive advisor and is not making this process easier. Can I have this matter resolved by referring to the call when the upgrade was done, insurance was put and where the covered amount was discussed. I would also like a copy as well.
I even had to call in yesterday and spoke to Nosiphiwo (082 135) around 6pm who then advised I was called by a store for an upgrade!! Wow, why? Why am I dealing with the store now and not you directly? That "store" even said if I go to a store I will be charged upgrade fee when I wanted to collect the device at the time of the upgrade!!
Can we we have this sorted please!!
