Uncalled for rude behaviour from store technician - Nicolway Vodacom

I visited the Nicolway store on the 27th of December with my elderly mother and father. My mother went to Vodacom and asked the technician for assistance with her Whatsapp. She asked him if anyone could assist her in Afrikaans as she can't express herself in English, to which the man asked her if she understood Zulu.

This is unacceptable and patronising customer service. I confronted the man, and he arrogantly told me that there is nothing wrong with his behaviour.

I asked him for his name - he was not wearing a name tag, and he refused to give it to me. My mother have been a customer for many years, and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

I want the staff member - the only man working on the day - to be disciplined. Will this happen?

The fact that it will be taken up with the store, still does not mean it will be resolved. Will I get feedback ont his matter again? I did not see one apology in your responses Vodacom. Just cleverly written generic responses. Regards
