UNBLACKLISTING NIGHTMARE!
Un-blacklisting a phone impossible!
So on Sunday the 25th of Feb my phone was ******, the natural reaction is to blacklist your phone which i did. By some miracle i managed to get my phone back 2 hours later. I immediately called Vodacom from my cellphone as it was still working to ask them to please lift the blacklisting. They said they would email me the unblacklisting form. On Monday i completed the unblacklisting form and emailed it to Vodacom along with the copies of my ID as per the forms instruction. At no stage did anyone tell me i needed to get an affidavit and send it with the form and it also doesnt state that anywhere on the Vodacom unblacklisting form. Considering i got my phone back i didnt go to the police station as it would be a waste of time. Needless to say i went yesterday to get the affidavit and re-submitted my forms. The affidavit is the most silly thing ever as all it basically needs to say is i blacklisted my phone and now i want it unblacklisted. I was also given a number to call by one of the customer care agents which was ********** . Today apparently that number is not recognised on the vodacom directory and that there is no unblacklist department. At this stage no one has acknowledged that they have recieved my documents or provided an update on when my phone will be unblacklisted. Each day there is a new story. I am extremely unhappy with the service received and the lack of empathy from each person i have spoken to, there have been so many as each time they place me on hold they actually transfer you to another person so you have to go through the same story all over again raising your blood pressure and frustration. I am now at my wits end as i don't have a phone and no idea when it will come back online.
I also use my phone for business so this is a major inconvenience.
I need answers!!!!
