Unbelievable

Well my morning started as follows I've got 4 contracts with vodacom ,one of them being a data plan and the others,3 different phones, two at my business and one with my wife Two of them getting used extensively for business.. Dropped the one and needles to say it is not in one piece anymore. Desided to cancel two of my contracts this morning witch have been long time overdue.. I mean the one I've never used since 2011 but still paying it for some reason.. thank you vodacom for letting me know Im wasting money and just letting it go.. I mean if I forgot about it why should you tell me about it..just keep on collecting.. Your the best !! Then I go ahead and call them because I don't have the time of day to go around and look for a phone because Im busy at my shop. I went ahead and called them and see if I can maybe get another contract and phone so that business can be conducted ass usual .I know there should not be any problems because Ive been with them for like ten years or so and cant see that there should be any issues.. Well.... Got a phone call back from them saying that I do not qualify for another phone contract because I've got bad credit and a itc listing on my name.. Not knowing whats going on I then got a number from lindi at vodacom kolonade and desided to give itc a call to find out whats going on.. Well would'nt you know apparently I'm in the rears at vodacom for the amount of 60 something rand .. Ok so I phone lindy back and told her about this and she then informed me that she does not understand coz all my acounts are up to date and paid in full. Then gave me the instruction to phone the credit department maybe they will be able to help and i did just that, got the same message from them that my account is up to date and Im not in the rears... After holding for a while someone was called to help the person assisting me in the mean while I then went and paid an amount of R200 to cover the outstanding amount so that my name can be cleared asap as this could call for other complication regarding the house I'm busy purchasing .. This was just after 12 this morning,I then heard from the lady at the credit department that it apparently was an amount of R80 something rand, yes the amount has grown, that was paid short in 2017 I then called lindi back and told her what I have found and wanted to know how this could be resolved asap coz Im losing money at the end of the day.. I then was told to phone itc back and send then the proof of payment so that it could be corrected,he then helped me in the rite direction and told me i need to call the credit department and send the the proof of payment there and they will make the arrangements regarding.Did just that and was once again told that i need to send the proof to lindi at the vodashop thats helping me. Did eventually find out that she had to send it to the credit department I then sent it to her and after many tries and succeeded .. this hapend about 4:30 in the afternoon OK sorted.. No I then had to find out that they are not stopping me from getting the new contract because of the itc but because I apparently have not been paying the monthly installment on the same date every month and I'm going to have to do that for at least the next three months before I could think of getting a knew contract from them.. I'm really impressed and I'll definitely try my best to close all my accounts with vodacom and move to the next provider that offers me half of..

Cant believe I've wasted one hole day, and don't even want to know how many customer calls for this.. What a way to say thank you for your loyal support,I mean if you wanted me to get the idea that your doing your best not to help me by getting a new story not to help every time we resolved the current one. Great job

I even had to explain my self ten times the last time i called customer care that all I want is the amounts outstanding on all my accounts so that they could be paid in full and cancelled and I wanna lodge a complaint..

No thank you .. Regards Jaques Du Preez
