Unauthorized upgrades ( ********** activities)

Vodacom has become from bad to worse. They are committing *****. They have personal details of customers who knows what they are up to. My contract term ended on the 4th of November. I went into a Vodacom store on the 26th of October and the consultant told me that there is still 1 more payment that needs to go out and suggested i should come back after that payment went through. That payment was done on the 25th of November. So i was going to go the weekend og the the 29th which was the black Friday special. On the evening of the 28th i saw that all my apps n internet was working and was curious as to where i had the data from as my data for the month had been finished and all i had was a whatsapp bundle, so i checked on the my Vodacom app and saw that there was1 gig allocated to my number. So i checked my contract terms only to see that my contract had been upgraded so i had asked my husband if he was aware of it he had said no. On Friday the 29th of November at 9 in the morning i tried calling customer care. I was on hold for 15 minutes before someone could even answer. From there i was transferred to the rewards department as they were the 1s that did the upgrade. The lady assist me with the cancelation and told me it was marked as a priority and i should call the retention department to ask them to speed up the process. Later that evening i called the retention and the guy told me only rewards can do it for me and i was transferred to the rewards department. I spoke to the manager in charge and she said to me that it takes between 24 to 48 hours to cancel. And that she would mark it urgent and get back to me on Saturday. Saturday went pass so I went to a Vodacom store to see if the reversal and cancelation had been done they had told me no and that they could not do anything for me. I tried calling them on Saturday and never got through. On Monday i tried again and they sent me from department to department and i was unable to get ahold of the manager that spoke to me. The guy told mw he would send her a mail stating that she needs to call me urgently. That never happened. Monday at around 5 i called them again they cut the call on me twice each time i called i had to hold for over 15 minutes just to speak to a consultant. I finally got through to a consultant amd she told me it was only logged as urgent on Monday at 1. She told me she would request and urgency on the reference number and get back to me on Tuesday. Tuesday came and she didn't bother calling me. I had to call again. Yet again i was holding on to speak to a consultant for over 15 minutes. They guy i spoke to told me he would get that lady that i spoke to on Monday to call me back and that she would call me shortly. That didn't happen. Later that day around 5 again i called. They cut the call on me and i had to call again then i spoke to another lady who told me i had it would only be done end of the month. I told her that i could not wait as the deal that i wanted is ending on the 4th of December. She had told me the same thing as the lady the previous day had told me and she said she would call me back today at 10....still waiting for her to call me. Vodacom is committing ***** and it is not safe to leave them with our personal details. They say the customer satisfaction is what matters most but yet they are doing things without the customers consent. They have no decency to return calls or to assist customers. To approve anything take a few seconds but to cancel and query n call them take 48 hours to a month. That not fair at all. I would never recommend Vodacom to anyone as they are a bunch of ********** people. The moment they get the customer to confirm their id numbers they do their own thing... Who wants to take a contract for airtime only we can get that over the counter at any store. We take contract to get new phones. Vodacom isn't the cheapest network there is their rates are high and their bundle prices are quite high yet we still have our contracts with them because we are loyal customers. But they are not loyal service providers. Its such a shame that they do not realize thet they are losing alot of customers due to their ignorance and lack of loyalty to the customers. SAD!!!!!!!
