UNAUTHORIZED SIM SWOP

Good day

An unauthorized sim swop was done on my cellphone on the 26th of December 2016.

I phoned Vodacom and no one could explain how this could be done without me being aware of it being authorised by Vodacom. I was informed to go to my nearest Vodacom shop the following day to be positively identified, which I did. I was requested to pay for a new sim swop to be done on my number.

I really need to be informed how someone else can do a simswop on my phone without me being made aware thereof by means of sms / e-mail from Vodacom.

Why must I pay for a new sim swop if the error was not on my side?

4 hours after the sim swop my phone was still not activated and I had to phone customer services again to have my number activated. I was later told that my phone has been blocked by Vodacom as well. Seriously? What happened to customer service and protecting customers???

I also received sms on my home internet informing me that my sim swop on that has also been started??? Really Vodacom?>
