Unauthorized migrations and billing changes
So Vodacom is going around migrating packages and adjusting fixed term contracts billing as they please without customers consent? My billing for past 4 months has been gradually inclining because of migrations and price changes that weren’t communicated nor discussed? Is this some kind of Vodacom Cyber attack version of lotting from customers?

12 May 2022, 08:31Dear Customer,
Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.
Our records indicate that your query was escalated to our support team for further assistance. Based on the feedback provided, our team assisted and reversed the migration as requested. Kindly note that our packages also had a price increase and this was communicated with all customers.
Cost increases are unavoidable across all industries, but we are committed to minimising this financial impact on you while keeping you connected to the people and things that matter most. Over the past three years, Vodacom has absorbed all inflationary costs and as a result, we helped buffer our customers from telco price increases. As we move forward with 2022 and continue to provide a quality service, we are keeping costs as low as possible and capping our subscription price increase at 5.2%

We apologize for the inconvenience and the service experienced.

24 May 2022, 10:04Still haven’t received a call on this, billing for May still shows inflated amount meaning advantage is taken over a customer to bill as you please??
Correct that migration done in March was reversed however there was no credit as migration concluded on false promise and with false information hence I had to request reversal and cancelation. The debited amount should also be credited as awaited and still awaiting feedback on this post recording that had to be listened for this migration proceedings.
Further more, I received a mail beginning of May with this content “From 1 June 2022, your current RED Flexi 230 plan will be updated to a Red Flexi 245 plan. This means a price increase of R15 — the good news is that your airtime allocation will also go up!”.
So anyone care to explain what this is?? How was it authorized? Was I contacted and did I approve for this??
And please extract my signatory from my fix term contract agreeing to any price increase during the contract term? Need to see where I signed for this nonsense.
