Unauthorized Migration

An unauthorized migration was done telephonically on one of our data contracts on our company account from a 10gig package to a 20gig package in July 2020. We were advised that the migration was done by Vodacom Direct, and after several communications to Vodacom Direct about this, we are only receiving excuses and nothing is done to correct it. They claim that the call center agent spoke to one of our employees. This employee had no authorization to approve the migration and this migration was done with no written authorization from our company. The agent even went as far as telling the employee that there will be no increase in cost, that only the monthly data will be increased, which turned out to be untrue as well. The subscription of the contract increased from R 149 to R 329 p/month! When someone eventually called us back, we were just advised that they can reverse the migration with a penalty fee of R1500. We gave no authorization for the migration, and now the call center wants to bill us to reverse the ********** migration. We have been a loyal Vodacom customer for over 20 years, but it seems that our complaint is just being ignored.

Vodacom did phone me the same day I posted on Hellopeter and said the case will be investigated. I appreciate the quick response, but still the unauthorized migration is not reversed and we did not receive the credit which is due to us.

I was phoned again by another agent, saying they investigated and according to them it was an authorized transaction and we must pay the penalty if we want the migration reversed.
I informed the agent (like all the previous times) that no employee is allowed to make any changes/upgrades/migrations on the Company Account.
I also asked for proof from Vodacom (again) to indicate who authorized the change, but still nothing.
