UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDER

Good day

I would like to report unauthorized Vodacom debit orders on my ABSA bank account.

On 20 June 2016 I received notification from my bank that a debit order from Vodacom went off in the amount of R296.00. Description: Direct debit Vodacom ********** 777 I ********** . I immediately logged into my internet banking and stopped the debit order and reversed it.

On 1 July 2016 another debit order from Vodacom went off in the amount of R396.00. Description: Direct debit Vodacom ********** 919 I ********** . Again I logged into my internet banking and stopped the debit order and reversed it.

I am not a Vodacom customer and have never been a customer of them nor have I ever had any contract with them.

I went into a Vodacom shop in Canal Walk today to query this, but the lady in the shop were unable to help me and told me to contact customer care.

Please assist in permanently cancelling this Vodacom debit order, as I did not authorize this. I would also like to know where they got my banking details from?

Regards

E AGENBAG
