Unauthorized charge

On the 4th of October 2016, I contacted Vodacom customer services to inform them of my wishes to cancel my contract number ********** 459 at the end of the contract term, which was November 2016. I received two sms’s from Vodacom confirming the cancellation of my contract and that my number will be converted to a prepaid number, I called again towards the end of November to reconfirm the instructions, I was told that my number was already a prepaid. On the 1st of December 2016 got a debit from Vodacom for R205.00, I called to query the debit and was told that it was the last debit and that my number is now a pre-paid. Last week I received a letter from Vodacom stating that I owe R629.99 , and will be debited on the 3rd of January 2017, I called to question the letter as I have never defaulted on my debit orders with Vodacom and have proof of cancellation, again I was transferred from one person till the call got cut off. Contracts department told me they can’t assist as it’s a prepaid number, prepaid division said its contracts retentions query… till date I still don’t have an answer.
