Unauthorized Account Migration Resulting in Arrears & Credit Score Damage

I am extremely disappointed with Vodacom’s billing practices.

My account was “migrated” to a different plan/product without my knowledge or consent. I never requested, approved, or was informed of any migration. As a result, additional charges were added to my bill that I did not agree

These unauthorized charges caused my account to go into arrears through no fault of my own. Vodacom has now reported this to the credit bureaus, damaging my credit score.

This is ******** billing. Per the CPA and WASPA codes, a provider cannot change my contract terms or add costs without explicit consent.

I request that Vodacom: 1. Immediately reverse all charges related to the unauthorized migration 2. Clear the arrears from my account 3. Send written confirmation to all credit bureaus to correct my credit record 4. Provide me with call recordings/transcripts proving I “agreed” to this migration

Until this is resolved, I will be escalating to ICASA, the National Consumer Commission, and the Credit Ombud. Please contact me on this number ***
