Unauthorised Package Change and Billing Issue

I initially subscribed to a Vodacom 5G, 50Mbps internet plan at a rate of R 399 per month. (not fibre, but 5G Vodacom) I recently reported an issue regarding poor signal reception and was subsequently contacted by a Vodacom representative. I was informed that Vodacom no longer provides 5G reception in my area and was offered a 4G alternative. I was told that a quote for the 4G service would be sent to me for review, and I could decide whether to proceed with the change.

The quote was then sent via a "noreply" email, without any contact details of the representative I had spoken with. Furthermore, I was not followed up with a phone call regarding the matter. Upon reviewing the quote, I found that the proposed 4G service was nearly double the cost of my existing plan, which I found unacceptable. As a result, I did not sign or return the quote, effectively rejecting the offer.

To my shock, upon receiving my latest Vodacom invoice and statement, I discovered that Vodacom had unilaterally changed my package to the 4G plan without my consent. This is completely unacceptable, and I demand immediate rectification of this issue.

I insist on the following actions: * Revert my package back to the original Vodacom 5G, 50Mbps internet plan at R 399 per month. * Ensure that no unauthorised deductions are made from my account for the higher-priced 4G service.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this matter has been handled, particularly the unauthorised modification of my package and the lack of proper communication.

PS: What I ALSO don't understand is - why charge me R 606.22 pm for the 4g internet, when on your website you have the 4G internet package Home Internet 30mbps for R 399pm? Unbelievable. As I have mentioned before, I have a screenshot taken, where Vodacom was offering 5G at my address - and I'm happy to share this screenshot with you if you provide an email address. It contains my address, the 5G available etc, and I have taken this screenshot when I have signed up for this service online. You can't now charge me more for a 4G internet.
