Unauthorised debit orders on a cancelled contract

I cancelled my vodacom contract - the end date of the contract being the 7 March 2017 - for the same date as the expiration date. We have immigrated so the use of vodacom was not needed. I have just checked my SA bank account to find that Vodacom is STILL debiting my account for the contract price!!! I am fuming and I can NOT get through on the international number for customer services provided on the website. I am absolutely disgusted by the gall of Vodacom thinking that this behaviour is acceptable! I am in Australia and I am thus not able to go into a branch to sort this out.

I sent through a written cancellation request to Vodacom on the 20th February 2017. I then contacted Vodacom telephonically on the 28th February to confirm that all was in order for the cancellation as I was immigrating to Australia in less than 2 weeks. I received verbal confirmation that the cancellation request had been noted and not to worry. I then contacted Vodacom on the afternoon of the 9th March 2017 around 17:30 - as I was going through customs at the airport to immigrate to request sms only activation and I also asked for last confirmation that all was in order for my contract to be cancelled at the end of its term, 7 April 2017. I was told that everything was in order and once again not to worry.
It is now the beginning of August and Vodacom is STILL debiting my account for a contract that was supposed to be cancelled!!!! I have called the call center 3 times from AUSTRALIA to get this resolved and I am now being told to prove the request for cancellation sent through on the 20th February 2017. That request was sent from my work email address which I no longer have access to seen that I have left not only the company but the country! Hence my call on the 28th February confirming all was in order before I left my place of employment.
I have no also been informed that my contract will only be cancelled as of the end of July which means that there is still one more debit order to be taken off my account in August.
This is completely unacceptable and I want this resolved URGENTLY!!! I am beyond disgusted at Vodacom's approach to this and I am bitterly disappointed in a brand I was loyal to for so long!
