Unauthorised Debit Order After Contract Cancellation

I am extremely dissatisfied and angry about the way my account has been handled.

My Vodacom contract reached its expiry date in July, and I followed the required cancellation process specifically to ensure that I would not continue being billed for a service that had come to an end. During my cancellation call, your consultant clearly informed me that the August debit order would be the final payment deducted from my account.

Despite this assurance, Vodacom proceeded to debit my account again in September for a contract that had already expired and been cancelled. This is completely unacceptable and amounts to an unauthorised deduction from my bank account.

I cancelled the contract in good faith and re**** on the information provided by your consultant. There is no justification for Vodacom continuing to take money from my account after the contract has ended and after I was explicitly told that August would be the final debit order.

I demand the immediate refund of the September debit order and a full written explanation detailing how and why this unauthorised deduction occurred.

If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will escalate my complaint to the relevant Ombudsman and pursue every available avenue to recover my money and hold Vodacom accountable for this failure.

I expect written confirmation of the refund and corrective action without further delay.
