Unauthorised Debit Order Activated - Not Vodacom Customer!
I received an emailed invoice from a store I have never been to, for a contract I never agreed to. Two days later there's a debit order for the same invoice on my bank account. I don't have any Vodacom products and have not authorised this payment. I spent 16min on the phone trying to get through to customer service but to no avail. It's a wonder how these ********** transactions get authorised on people's accounts without their knowledge. Please cancel this nonsense! ***-0. Quotation number: ***

16 Feb 2023, 08:39This is absolutely ridiculous! Now I have to make affidavits for contracts I didn't request? How is there no way that Vodacom can confirm my acceptance or sign on to this contract? I'm sure this is what happens by the millions and it's just to much of an inconvenience for people to go to police stations to do this so Vodacom benefits unduly. This is really pathetic!
