Unauthorised Contract Deal.

Good day On the 03rd May 2019 I realised that my phone was not showing all the numbers that were coming in. I then called Vodacom as I currently have 2 active contracts with them which I confirmed on the 09th April 2019; that both are ending in 2020(August and September). I spoke to Gugu who quickly told me that my number needs a caller-identity and which she can help me activate for me and they will charge me R9.90 per month on this contract. I told her that the number that I was calling her on was on contract and the contract ended in February 2019 and I did not upgrade it so it’s prepaid and I have been identifying the calls until this morning. She checked for me on their system and told me that my number was changed to contract today. I was baffled and asked where and who agreed to this because I don’t remember agreeing to any new contract. I told her that I received a call sometime last month and the people said they were calling on behalf of Vodacom and that I was selected for a Data only contract on my number( ********** 909), I asked the lady how it works and she explained and I was still not convinced and I said I am not interested. I then called Vodacom a few days after just to confirm the current contracts that I had with them and they did confirm which contracts I had and when they are ending. I am still surprised how this S Tshabangu from Rewards (The Company that Gugu confirmed) signed me up for this contract. I requested Gugu to transfer my call to their Department but I was told that they were not operating today but she will log my dispute and also asked them not to bill my account with the next debit order. I am not happy with the service that I have received from Vodacom and I remember when I took up a contract with them that I don’t want my numbers to be shared for telemarketing calls but I am surprised that I am receiving calls like this from foreign companies. I wish to cancel all my contracts with Vodacom if possible as I do not want to associate myself with them anymore. I am very very unhappy as all my calls are all Unknown and I cannot trace any missed calls until this is resolved nor buy my own Data as I do not want to use whatever Data that they have loaded today because I do not want to pay for any unforeseen charges. Please help me solve this matter. Kind regards, Miss E Morodi Email: ********** Tel: ********** 909
