Unauthorised contract

In the 1st October 2021 an unauthorised contract was loaded on my name, ever since then I've tried cancelling my contract - I had numerous calls and numerous emails confirming my emails but no action. As a longstanding customer of Vodacom I am deeply disappointed with the way things have gone the last 4 months. All I need Vodacom to do is put my number on a prepaid number now. The trust is broken *** quote number received on the 4.10.2021 email sent at 10.08 Please I don't want anymore calls from Vodacom just cancel the contract and put my sim on prepaid as per quote above

This is sad, it's now November 2023 and I'm still battling with the same account. The unauthorised contract was cancelled but the monies that was on that account never credited. Now 2 years later and 3 different debt collecting companies later, I'm still battling that Vodacom must send me someone that actually understands what they have done. The sad part is, I had an account with Vodacom from 2010 or even before that and in the 11 years not once did I have an unpaid debit order until this unauthorised contract story started. This is affecting my credit score and although I don't need to open any accounts it makes me angry. I don't like arrear accounts but I also don't like it when people try to ***** my money. I just feel wronged, this was Vodacom's fault yet I'm the one that needs to try and sort out the account. Vodacom has really let me down big time.
I am fed up and I'm saddened that big companies think they have the upper hand with clients.
What happened to honesty, integrity and customer service?
I'm looking for an attorney that would take this case to clear my name to date this account is now sitting at R7000 + which I will not pay.

So today is the 26th February and this account is still not resolved- the frustrating part about all of this is the debt collectors - O my word, I'm sure they are just as frustrated as me.
This account was handed over to a company called MBD in the beginning after sending them all my emails and a full PDF of the communication between me and Vodacom I think they handed the account back to Vodacom. Then the account was handed over to Burnard and Raaff, they went througn all the documentation and emails and gave the account back to VODACOM.
NOW I'm back with MBD this is frustrating and such a waste of time - every call is someone different and you take 10 min with each person trying to explain that VODACOM needs to credit my account.
I am so frustrated with VODACOM that I don't know what to do anymore. Maybe a case of defamation of character? This is affecting my credit score and I don't have any bad debt except this now R7400 bad debt on my name.
Nobody from Vodacom has contacted me since the last response from VODACOM. 19 Jan 2022 (this is now 2 years later) I'm a very patient person, but even patient people get frustrated with calls and repeats.
The latest are the calls from MBD if I answer nobody talks. Now I've started ignoring the calls. I've emailed them and still no response on email.
Anybody out there want to take this case to go to court? From 2010 until the unauthorised contract my account was squeaky clean. Vodacom messed up and now I'm being punished.
